Fishwife Sardines with Preserved Lemon

Fishwife Sardines with Preserved Lemon: A

I had this with some plant based cream cheese and low carb high protein bread. It was quite nice. A very different experience from Nuri Sardines which had an intact and slightly crunchy spine that I could easily pick out.

I had to double check that there were bones on the fish because the bites were just so tender and moist. These were the least bony bone-in sardines I have had in my life. I have had quite a few different sardines at this point.

This, Nuri, and Seasons competing for number one, tho considering price point and availability at the moment, Seasons is the daily driver. Texture-wise Fishwife Sardines is the winner, though Nuri wins hands down on scent and flavor.
